NUCA EWNI proudly hosted another successful Signing Day for junior and senior high school students, offering them the unique opportunity to meet local employers and explore current job opportunities in the construction industry. This year's event was marked by significant achievements, thanks to our dedicated sponsors and the enthusiastic participation of students.

Their presence and engagement were vital in making the event a success, providing students with valuable insights into potential career paths.
Increased Student Attendance and Better Weather
We were thrilled that student attendance doubled from last year's event. The sunny weather was a welcome change from the previous year, creating a perfect environment for students to interact with employers and learn about the exciting opportunities the construction industry has to offer.
Positive Feedback from Participants
Many of the companies who attended Signing Day 2024 provided positive feedback about the event's organization and the quality of interactions with students. The structure of the event facilitated meaningful conversations, allowing employers to connect with potential future employees effectively.
Success Stories
One of the standout success stories from this year's event is Brenner Dart. Brenner, who has been a volunteer operator at Dozer Day for the past few years, attended Signing Day and was subsequently hired by W.M. Winkler. Stories like Brenner's highlight the impact of Signing Day in bridging the gap between students and the construction industry.
Looking Ahead to 2025
Overall, our 2nd annual Signing Day was an overwhelming success. We are proud to be part of developing the future workforce in the construction industry, encouraging students to explore opportunities in the trades and guiding them toward lucrative career paths. We are already looking forward to making Signing Day 2025 even bigger and better!
Thank you to everyone who made this event possible. Together, we are building a brighter future for the construction industry.
